The Marin Home Team presents:

Exceptional Larkspur home

About this home's

Proudly situated in the flats of beautiful Baltimore Canyon, this historic Larkspur cottage boasts period details and oozes charm! The dramatic front yard welcomes you with a brick pathway adorned by soaring heritage redwoods. A vintage wraparound front porch provides fantastic curb appeal and a perfect place for relaxing. Blending the old with the new, this 2 bedroom/2 bathroom home features a living room with vaulted ceilings, wainscoting, and a glorious stone fireplace that flows directly into the dining room. The updated kitchen features freshly painted white cabinetry, stone counters, tile flooring, a farmhouse sink, and stainless appliances. The ensuite primary bedroom has private access to the back deck, which is surrounded by towering redwoods and graced by the sounds of nature from the trees above and the seasonal creek below. A bonus space in the attic has been finished to create an extra play area or office. Vintage features include glass doorknobs, original fir floors (newly refinished), and architectural details typical of a historic home. The home also has a generous walk-in unfinished space below, perfect for all your seasonal and personal storage needs. 207 Madrone is conveniently close to downtown Larkspur — near the park, dinner, ice cream, award-winning schools, and so many more amenities. Nature abounds with access just outside your door to Dawn Falls Trail and Mt. Tamalpais.

207 Madrone Avenue

One of the most spectacular features of houses in Larkspur is the scenery surrounding them. Redwoods rule in Larkspur. In Baltimore Park and Baltimore Canyon, giant redwoods grow straight out of the road, while the streets gently curve their way around these massive trees.

Tucked away under the redwoods beneath Mount Tamalpais, Larkspur boasts a great dining scene. The main street, Magnolia Avenue, is a vibrant destination for food lovers who frequent restaurants such as Pizzeria Picco, Emporio Rulli, and the Left Bank Brasserie. The Lark Theater, also on Magnolia, has been restored to its art-deco glory by a community effort and screens first-run films.
The Larkspur and Corte Madera Creek paths run a few blocks parallel to Magnolia on a former railroad right-of-way and are popular with families, dog walkers, and bikers on their way to Point Reyes.
